With a heavy heart, we announce Temper has ceased operations and sales.

When we started, we demanded our books had to:

1. Be affordable to our customers.

2. Use high-quality materials.

3. Be paid by us and not our artists.

Unfortunately, increased production costs, material shortages, supply chain issues, the global shipping crisis, and a saturated marketplace have proven challenging in staying within these tenets. It's not in our DNA to release titles with subpar materials for inaccessible prices that would likely yield a financial loss. All this has led to the difficult decision to end.

We ask this: please support your favorite artists and their endeavors. We prided ourselves in not having the artists we collaborated with pay production costs. Most publishers don't. With all the complexities listed above, more and more artists won't recoup the expense to produce their titles. So please support talent, creativity, and years of hard work whenever you can.

We thank you so much for all you provided. Your trust, kind notes, and support lifted our spirits during this exciting, challenging, rewarding, and complex endeavor. Thank you once again for everything…
